Awesome boat! You can literally crash this thing as hard as you want and keep on trucking!! My 9 year old son has paddled it all over the lake and he loves it too. Customer service is outstanding as well. Set up and tear down is very easy. I’ve even used the Taylor to scuba dive out of. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great budget kayak with one major drawback. We used the Taylor on multiple Class III-III+ runs last season in ID & WY. Here’s my take… Pros: - It’s cheap…boy is it cheap! A good deal too depending on what you’re after. - It’s sturdy in both materials/construction and on the water. Materials don’t quite match other brands like Aire, but the price point explains that. It’s also wide and has beefy tubes, so you can paddle confidently through waves and holes. - It’s sporty! This thing is fast and turns on a dime. The rocker profile is great for riding over waves! - Easy setup. Enough said. It’s super simple. - Lots of cool color options. - RMR customer service has been great. Cons: - It drains SO poorly. It’s bad. It drains slower than Chewbacca’s sink. Yes, it’s a stable, sporty, fun to paddle IK (inflatable kayak) until you get swamped by a Class III curler. Then you're paddling an IB (inflatable barge) through the remainder of the rapids until the water drops to Class I and it can drain. I rode a quarter mile Class III wave train completely submerged in my boat, not so fun. Also, the drop stitch floor plus rocker profile will have you sitting in at least an inch water the ENTIRE time you’re in the boat. My GF and I both had this problem (we weigh 115 & 200 lbs respectively). If you don’t care about a wet butt, go for it. Unfortunately, the water is cold here so we’re selling ours :( we really, really wanted to love it but it seems we could have invested in a better boat…

I purchased the ik-126 last year for my wife. She absolutely loves it. Since my family has added 2 more singles and one tandem. We recently had a family outing on the Cartecay River in Georgia and plan on adding more ik-126 until the whole family has one

I love this boat. Just took it for its maiden outing on the Chattooga section 3.5 and it was so much fun. I was able to catch eddys and maneuver it easily. It was stable and super fun. I did get the thigh braces to attach and am glad I did. Also made it easier to carry.

ove the IK, taken it down Chattooga at different levels, handled great. Impressed a few other folks and they purchased. From experienced to sharing with family and friends who are new to the river, it is a great boat to offer.

My 6 and 7 year old boys both paddled this down the upper Rogue River this summer. It was very stable, easy to maneuver, and incredibly comfortable for everyone. (From a 50 lb kid to a 250 lb adult) Best IK you can get for the price! Several friends wanted to know where they could get one.

Second review. Second run in this IK yesterday (2/28/21) in the Lower Nantahala. I love this boat. In the smooth water you can hit a single stroke and Merry Go Round 720 degrees and just gaze up at the mountains. Thigh straps are helpful for a couple of reasons. One, they help you lean into a ferry to get across the river. Two, the thigh straps allow you to lean back on the thwart and enjoy a Lazy Boy reclining position to take in the scenery. Another thing I really like about this IK. It’s proportioned so that in the “Lazy Boy” reclining position, your elbows rest comfortably on the sides. All in all, it’s just a really snug, stable set up. I floated sideways through several Class II runs with rolling waves that I knew had no rocks. Very comfortable. Finally, a very easy carry, light, and it rides on your shoulder effortlessly.

Absolutely the best! I needed an easy to haul, sturdy, easy to set-up, and dependable kayak and these are it! The ride is awesome, easy to control and darn comfortable. My daughters can haul 2 IKs easily in a small vehicle and time to get from vehicle to water is very quick. Best IK for this price, hands down.

Awesome! Super playful in holes too. Tubes can run really tight. I just took it down the Rogue River in Oregon. It ferries much better than my other IKs. I love the thicker material and the drop stitch floor. This is my new go to for class 3 and down. Great boat but factor in the price and it’s an AWESOME boat. Nothing available can touch this for the price.

I. Am. In. Love. Took her out the very first thing. After getting squared away on the thigh straps (thanks again) and seat position, I immediately put it in the surf and then stuck it in every hole I could. I’m the first person in town to have this boat and it caught a lot of attention. The 14th St. Misfits love RMR!
