Rocky Mountain Rafts has traditionally built substantial PVC rafts for demanding river use. The Flow Series was created for a different kind of owner: someone who doesn't need all that weight every time they go boating.

We wanted something more affordable and easier to handle for the weekend boater while maintaining the practical construction and river performance expected from an RMR raft.

Made for the Weekend Boater

Not every raft owner needs a heavy expedition boat. The Flow was designed around the kind of trips many private boaters actually take: fishing days, family floats, camping weekends, lake trips, and Class I–III rivers.

Class I–III Performance

RMR designed the Flow specifically for Class I–III fishing and recreational river use. The result is a stable, capable platform without adding the material weight needed for the more demanding environments our heavier-duty rafts are built around.

Designed for Fishing

No thwarts or thwart attachments means more usable interior space for a fishing frame, anglers, cooler, tackle, dry storage, and other gear.

The firm drop-stitch floor also gives anglers a much more confident surface for standing and casting than a softer traditional inflatable floor.

Room for Family & Gear

With a 13'2" length, 6'4" width, 20" tubes, and 14.5" interior depth, the Flow offers useful passenger and gear space while remaining considerably easier to transport than many heavier RMR models.

33 oz, 2,000-Denier PVC

The Flow uses 33 oz, 2,000-denier lightweight PVC and a smaller chafe strip to reduce unnecessary weight and make the raft easier to roll, carry, load, and transport.

The lighter construction is intentional. Rather than trying to make the Flow identical to one of our heavier mainline boats, we designed the material package around its intended fishing, family, camping, and Class I–III use.

Why Weight Matters

A lighter raft changes more than the drive to the river. It makes loading the boat, moving it around the garage, getting it to a put-in, breaking down after a trip, and storing it between river days easier.

If you don't need the additional material weight of an expedition or heavy-whitewater raft, there's little reason to carry it every weekend.

Rigid Footing

The Flow uses a 6-inch drop-stitch insert within a 44 oz PVC floor wrap. When properly inflated, the drop-stitch construction creates a firm, stable surface underfoot.

Built for Standing Casts

The added rigidity makes the Flow particularly useful for fishing. Anglers can stand, cast, and move around the boat with firmer footing than a softer traditional inflatable floor provides.

Reinforced Bailing Holes

Reinforced bailing openings allow water entering the raft to drain from the interior rather than collecting around passengers and equipment.

The FLWDS-132 is a great raft on its own, but it was built around frame use. If you're purchasing a new Flow specifically for fishing, we recommend starting with the RMR Angler Double-Haul Fishing Package instead of building the boat piece by piece.

How much does the Flow 132 Drop Stitch weigh?

The FLWDS-132 weighs approximately 98 lbs, making it considerably easier to load, transport, and store than many heavier-duty rafts.

Can one person move the Flow?

Its lighter construction makes it substantially more manageable than many larger or heavier rafts. Actual handling depends on the individual, terrain, whether the boat is inflated or rolled, and whether a frame or equipment is attached.

What type of water is the Flow designed for?

RMR designed the Flow Series primarily for Class I–III rivers, fishing floats, family trips, and recreational river use.

Can I take the Flow on Class IV whitewater?

The Flow was intentionally designed around Class I–III use. If demanding Class IV or more technical whitewater will be a regular part of your boating, one of RMR's heavier-duty models is generally a better fit.

Why doesn't the Flow have thwarts?

The Flow is designed around frame use. Eliminating the thwarts and thwart attachments opens the interior for the frame, anglers, passengers, coolers, and equipment.

Can I paddle the Flow like a conventional paddle raft?

The FLWDS-132 does not have thwarts or thwart attachment points and was designed around an oar-powered frame configuration rather than a conventional paddle-raft layout.

What is the Double-Haul?

The RMR Angler Double-Haul is the complete fishing version of the Flow setup. It combines the FLWDS-132 raft with the purpose-built FF132 fishing frame and your choice of compatible oars.

Should I buy the Flow by itself or the Double-Haul?

Buy the raft by itself if you already own compatible equipment or intend to build a different frame configuration. If you're starting from scratch and want a dedicated fishing setup, we recommend the Double-Haul because the raft, fishing frame, and oars can be selected together as one coordinated system.

How many anglers does the Double-Haul setup accommodate?

The FF132 fishing frame used in the Double-Haul is designed around a three-person fishing configuration with removable swivel seats, a front lean bar, anchor system, and adjustable frame components.

Can I buy the Flow fishing frame separately later?

Yes. The 13.2' RMR Angler Flow Fishing Frame is available separately and was designed specifically around the dimensions of the Flow 132.

Can I use a standard rowing frame instead?

Yes. RMR also offers a 3-Bay frame specifically sized for the 13'2" Flow if you prefer a more traditional rowing and gear configuration.

What's the difference between the Drop Stitch and I-Beam Flow?

The Drop Stitch version provides firmer footing and greater standing stability, making it particularly attractive for anglers. The I-Beam version has the softer, more traditional feel of an inflatable raft floor.

What's the difference between the Flow and a traditional RMR raft?

The Flow uses lighter material and a smaller chafe strip to reduce overall weight and cost. Our traditional heavy-duty raft models use more substantial construction for customers who need greater durability, more demanding whitewater capability, or heavier expedition use.

Is the lighter material less heavy-duty?

Yes — intentionally. The Flow is optimized around its recreational Class I–III use rather than trying to match the material weight of our expedition-oriented boats. Customers who regularly run more demanding whitewater or subject their boats to intensive commercial use should consider one of RMR's heavier-duty models.

Is the Flow good for families?

Can I use the Flow for camping trips?

Will the Flow fit in my truck, SUV, camper, or RV?

What comes with the raft?

The raft includes a valve wrench and patch kit. Frame, oars, oar locks, straps, pump, PFDs, anchor systems, and other river equipment are sold separately unless specifically included with a selected package.

What warranty does the Flow include?

The FLWDS-132 carries a 3-year private boater warranty, subject to Rocky Mountain Rafts' complete warranty terms.
